Do you want to work at the Post Office?

Firstly, the contracting will be through CLT and the expected contract period is 24 months. In other words, for two years you would have a guaranteed place, if you are approved in the competition.

Administrative assistant courses are offered to successful candidates called to sign the learning contract. Or Logistics Assistant, whether in-person or distance learning.

For admitted students, a minimum hourly wage will be paid, with service time being 20 hours per week.

In addition, the shared transport voucher, and shared meal voucher or food voucher in 5%. Plus, you get a uniform for work.

This is a program of different stages, the first with the course preparing the student theoretically. The second stage with practical activities at the Correios facilities.

Regarding requirements and registration

Firstly, the student must be between 14 and 21 years old, and can be Brazilian or foreign. However, if you have already been a young Post Office apprentice, you cannot participate.

You must be in the 9th year of elementary school, at least. if you have not yet finished high school.

Interested parties must register from March 27th, with a maximum date of April 21st, 2023.

How will the classification be carried out?

Initially, some factors will make a big difference in the classification to be a young apprentice at the Post Office.

Firstly, family income, that is, the lower the family income, the more points you will receive.

Furthermore, the age must be between 14 and 21 years old, in this aspect, the younger your age, the higher your score will be.

In this way, Correios hopes to encourage 14-year-olds to enter to learn a profession.

Finally, another important factor is the educational institution you study at. If it is public, you guarantee more points than if it is private.

And for candidates participating in government programs, they will receive extra points. Candidates who apply will still have their registrations valid for one year.

In other words, it may be that within this period you will still be called to work at the Post Office.
